New Search Features Released to FCS Online
First Corporate Solutions is pleased to announce that we have released several enhancements to the FCS Online search system.
An expanded state details section is available for online search states which allows users to know what lien types are included in the data prior to performing an online search. The details section also discloses the date range for online images and shares any state-specific data idiosyncrasies that may affect a user's search result.
The enhanced state selection menu merges online and offline search states, simplifying ordering of offline search requests. When a user selects an offline state from the consolidated state menu, the system will automatically direct them to a redesigned electronic ordering page.
To coincide with the enhancements, we have also introduced a new online support team created to provide FCS online users with a one-stop source for technical support, offline document requests, online billing questions, new user set-up and more.

First Corporate Solutions Announces Busy October Tradeshow Schedule
First Corporate Solutions is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at a number of tradeshows and conferences this month.

First Corporate Solutions Welcomes Guest Speaker Michael L. Weissman for Webinar on UCC Perfection
We are excited to announce that on August 29, 2012 at 11:00 am Pacific, FCS will be hosting a free webinar event, "UCC Perfection: How Secure is Your Security?"
This ninety-minute intermediate to advanced level presentation exposes traps for the unwary when attempting to secure collateral, as well as recent legislation that affects the perfection process. The program will also discuss recent cases that challenge whether a creditor has done their perfection correctly and demonstrate what can happen if they have not.
Our guest speaker for the event is attorney and respected UCC scholar, Michael L. Weissman, Of Counsel at Levin & Ginsburg in Chicago, IL. Mr. Weissman is a frequent author of articles that appear in publications of the American Bankers Association, the Risk Management Association and the Illinois Bankers Association. And he has taught Secured Transactions at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
